On the 'Sauerklee' hiking route, you hike steadily uphill from Spiegelhütte through varied forests. At a large crossroads with a shelter, the trail continues to the Schachtenhaus. The 'Sauerklee' ends at Gsenget, a border crossing to the Czech Republic that is open to pedestrians and cyclists all year round.
