Six display boards on the archaeological trail provide information about military and civilian life and the cult of the dead in Roman Günzburg. Significant archaeological evidence has been uncovered in Günzburg over the course of more than 100 years. The most beautiful objects are on display in the local museum. Almost nothing has been preserved above ground, as the building material from the ruins was reused in later times. Site plans, reconstruction drawings, illustrations of found objects and compact explanations make it easy to understand what is hidden beneath the ground. The tour ends with a replica of a Roman burial temple.
