The route from the "Berghamer Straßl" parking lot runs entirely in the shade of the dense mixed forest and is therefore particularly popular in midsummer temperatures. At 541 m at the highest point, you can get a taste of the mountain air by Bad Griesbach standards, but the starting point is also high and the trail has little incline. The Steinkart is known for its typical quartz conglomerate rock formations.
