③ Vom Rottaler Heiligen zum Gschlamperten Engel (Tourenvorschlag)

The Rottal hill country attracts visitors with great views and historical insights. The place of pilgrimage Parzham with the "Bruder Konrad Hof & Museum" is well worth a visit. A rarity in the whole of Germany, the still preserved birthplace of a saint can be visited there. Along the way, churches invite you to pause for a moment: the Gothic St. John's Church in Weng, the pilgrimage church St. Wolfgang, the Church of the Assumption in Wolfakirchen and the pilgrimage church Sammarei, the oldest wooden church in Germany with an integrated chapel of mercy, an organ that was outstanding for its time and the "gschlamperten Engel". The way back to Bad Griesbach continues past the Gothic church of St. Andreas in Oberuttlau, the Brunnwies and Uttlau golf courses to Holzhäuser with the Golfodrom and the Lederbach golf course.
