This medium-difficulty snowshoe tour leads through snow-covered winter forests north of Finsterau. The forest shows itself in all its facets with dense old-growth stands as well as bark beetle and windthrow areas. From the center of Finsterau, the trail leads to the renaturalized Finsterauer Filz moor, on to the Alte Klause, the Finsterau open-air museum and back.
