The 'Silberdistel' hiking route connects the town of Freyung with the national park. The route leads through the Buchberger Leite torrent gorge and past small villages to the Ameiskapelle chapel. A short time later, you enter the national park and cross the Sagwasser stream. You finally reach the Lusen National Park Center via Tanzboden.
