The 'Esche' hiking route starts at the Falkenstein National Park Center. There you can first visit the Stone Age Cave and observe aurochs and wild horses in spacious enclosures. The route continues past the villages of Schleicher and Kreuzstraßl to the panoramic summit of the Großer Falkenstein.
