BO2 Up and down again and again

On this tour, you will go uphill and downhill. But: Every effort will be rewarded with a magnificent view or insight! On the first part of the path through a light pine forest, for example, it is easy to see how the heath continues to make its way anew thanks to rejuvenating maintenance measures in the undergrowth.

Tip: Not far from the edge of the path, there are foundation stones of an old sheep pen. Once you have left the forest, the path leads steeply downhill at first, then it is time to climb the next hilltop covered with heather and juniper, only to descend again into a cool forest. In the shade of its trees, the tour leads with a constantly clear view of undulating grassland to the next group of hills, reminding you once again that you are actually in the "flat" Lüneburg Heath.
