NABU Nature Trail

Passing by some farms and partly along an old church path, the trail mainly runs through the forest and on field paths. After the easy ascents, there are always wonderful views of Schwelentrup. Especially at the so-called Peace Oak, a bench invites you to take a break and let your gaze wander. At the transition from the paved path into the forest, the ascent is quite steep and the path is somewhat narrow in some other places. It will be difficult with a stroller at these spots. In the first half, the trail follows the old church path from Schwelentrup to Hillentrup.
