Weilheim: Weg der Sinne - Rosen Erlebnis Weg

This walk takes you past the most beautiful spots in the rose village. A rush of scent and color awakens all the senses. The taste buds are not neglected either.

This village has more roses than inhabitants. Over 16,500 rose bushes of the most diverse varieties delight visitors. The footpath leads past countless rose gardens, a rose fragrance garden and a rose assortment garden.
At almost every house there are roses to discover, which are lovingly tended by the residents. The blaze of color and the fragrance delight all the senses. The St. Notker fountain shows the namesake of the village.
Intoxicated by the colors and scents, you can cool your feet in the newly created Kneipp treading pool at the end of the walk.

You can also indulge your taste buds with a hint of roses. The rose liqueur or rose schnapps is something very special. Rose petals from the Hansa Rose, which are specially planted in the village, are used for this. This delicacy can be tasted in all restaurants.
The Gret Stube, the somewhat different café, always offers new creations made from roses. Whether it's a slice of rose cake or a rose ice cream, enjoyment is guaranteed.
If you would like to take something delicious home with you, you can visit the tourist information office with its gift shop. Here you can buy rose liqueur, rose chocolates or rose jelly, all made from Nöggenschwiel wild roses.
