This varied excursion or half-day tour takes you around the Bautzen reservoir, which was created in the 1970s. Two villages lie at its bottom. From the town to the north-eastern end of the reservoir, we use the signposted Spree cycle path as a feeder route. The beach promenade is a good place to stop for a break. Sports enthusiasts can even try out the high ropes course. There is a picnic area near the Gottlobsberg with views over the lake. You can learn interesting facts about the dam on the nature trail on the small dam wall. If you love water and beautiful nature, there is plenty to discover on this tour.
