The approx. 4.4 km long circular trail starts at the parking lot of the baroque Rammenau Castle and first leads to a viewpoint with a great view of Rammenau Castle. There is another viewpoint on the Nördlicher Kammweg to the north, from where you have a good view of Upper Lusatia. The trail continues along the Waldscheibenteich pond and via Kirschallee in Oberrammenau back to the starting point. If you don't just want to admire the castle from afar, a subsequent visit to one of the most beautiful country baroque complexes in Saxony is of course a must.
The length and nature of the route make it ideal for family outings, even with small children.
