First, a slight incline leads on a forest path in the Gitteldschen Valley to the former feeding area for wild animals, then we ascend to the right towards the pavilion on Hasenberg. Continuing to the right, we follow Silberkammerweg to Keller, where the ascent to Moltke's Watch begins with a left turn. From there, we gently ride to the weather station towards Spinne, then to the left along Quellenweg to Silberkammerweg and back over Gallenberg to the Gitteldschen Valley.

From Spinne, a cross-country ski trail leads to Schweinebraten. At Schweinebraten, take a slightly right connecting trail (Ibergloipe) to Kreuzbergloipe to Bad Grund (20 km). The Hasenbergloipe is one of the 4 trails between Wildemann, Bad Grund, and Seesen with a total network of 27.8 km. The starting point of the 4 cross-country ski trails of medium difficulty is Taternplatz (about 15 minutes from the Seesen highway exit), located exactly between Bad Grund and Wildemann on the Harzhochstraße. The trails are at an altitude between 450 and 597 m. To the west, the Kreuzberg-Loipe is in two different lengths, the Iberg-Loipe connects the Kreuzberg-Loipe with the Hasenberg-Loipe in a northerly direction.

Together with municipalities in the western Harz region and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have been working in recent years for a qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz region. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
