The forest road through the Spiegeltal to the Spiegeltal mining house (forest inn), from here right through the Johannistal upwards to an altitude of 582 (approx. 2.5 km), from here there is a connection to Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
The return route can be walked downhill from the Johannistal via the carriage path/sled run to Wildemann (approx. 800 m).
