Western ridge above Hohe Warte

On hiking trail No. 30, you can switch off from everyday life and let your soul dangle. After a few meters at the edge of the field, you enter the forest at Westerlinde and from now on enjoy the peace and nature. The healthy beech forest provides coolness on hot summer days. The mostly wide path layout allows for a relaxed "just straight ahead walking". Good signposting provides helpful orientation. At a trail junction, there is a small resting bench that can be used for a break. The Hohe Warte (226.2 m) is the highest point of the tour. On the descent, the path actually leads over the ridge as a trail, but you can also use the more comfortable parallel forest road. Both meet again shortly before reaching the road. Note: In summer 2021, the parking lot at the sports field was overgrown, but you can park at the access road.
