Oderwitz lies at the foot of the 510m high Spitzberg. From here you have a wonderful view of the 3 very well-preserved windmills and a water mill that is still in operation. Some of the approx. 450 well-preserved Umgebinde houses in the village can be admired on the Umgebindehausstraße along the Landwasser. The route takes you along a paved road from Niederoderwitz to Oberoderwitz.
