The Biehainer Bruchgraben coming from the Biehainer Torfstich is divided into two branches. Its left branch flows northwest as the Schwarzgraben to Spree, where it flows into the Weißer Schöps and thus via Spree, Havel and Elbe into the North Sea. The right arm flows southeast as the Wiegandskanal to Nieder-Neundorf, where it flows into the Neisse. From there, the water reaches the Baltic Sea via the Oder
The Geheeg watercourse thus has the extremely rare European occurrence of flowing into two different seas.
At the end of this walk, the route takes you through Rothenburg's city park.
The beginnings of the park date back to the 15th century. As a large palace garden on the north side of the palace, it was used for glittering festivities and was available for the needs of the palace household.
