Arrival/Departure:Train: from Berlin with the RE3 (Stralsund) to Bernau, with the S2 (Karow) to Zepernick and with the bus 891 (Hobrechtsfelde) to Hobrechtsfelde (approx. 55 minutes).Car: from Berlin via the B109 to Hobrechtsfelde (approx. 45 minutes).Directions: Horses and cattle here act as landscape designers on around 850 hectares to create a semi-open forest meadow landscape. The former sewage field landscape with Gut Hobrechtsfelde has developed into a popular recreational area north of Berlin. Here you can cycle, skate, climb, hike, and all around the Gut Hobrechtsfelde information center with its imposing listed grain silo. A well-signposted hiking trail system including information boards (also at the S-Bahn stations) allows for a free choice of distance. Thus, you can explore this unusual landscape area at your discretion. The forest pastures are integrated into the hiking trail network and accessible via over 50 person gates.
