Via Sacra - von Löbau nach Sohland am Rotstein

The town of Löbau has a church worth seeing - St. Nicolai (the patron saint of traveling merchants and sailors). The cozy town centre of Löbau with Bahnhofstraße, Nicolaistraße and the town hall invites you to linger in the outdoor seating areas of the restaurants and cafés. Worth seeing is the baroque town hall, which incorporates the tower from the 15th century of the previous building. The path up Löbauer Berg leads past the König Albert Bad, a classic eye-catcher. The path leads through a pretty avenue towards the mountain. On the way is the Honigbrunnen, a cozy stop-off point. We reach the summit via a worthwhile detour, the Geldkellerweg, which leads to the rock of the same name. There, the unique cast-iron tower is waiting to be climbed. It's worth it for the fantastic panoramic view. Pleasant forest paths take us to the Wendish villages and Rosenbach, where the ascent to the Rotberg begins. This awaits with amazing flora and a wonderful view to the south. Finally, the observation tower offers a 360 degree view.
