Walk along the Upper Lusatian Umgebindehausstraße in Ebersbach-Neugersdorf; Route 3

Route 3 is designed as a circular route and starts/ends at the Lautex area. Here you can soon learn about the historical background of the textile industry on the new information boards or visit the main house, designed in the Art Deco style, with the exhibition on the work of the manufacturer C.G. Hoffmann at the beginning.
The route leads through quiet streets, always along the border with the Czech Republic. Interesting villa buildings - sometimes excellently restored, sometimes in rustic charm - testify to the former prosperity and give an idea of the special importance the textile industry had for the place. At the Büttnerborn, the founding place of Altgersdorf, you will learn about the peculiarities of the founding of Alt- and Neugersdorf.
Finally, a visit to the nearby gastronomy on Hauptstraße or Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße is recommended, the bee pasture of Lebens(T)räume e.V., or you can linger a little longer at the idyllic pond facilities.
