Arrival / Departure: By car: from Berlin via the A11 to Ruhlsdorf (approx. 50 minutes) and from Zerpenschleuse via the A11 to Berlin (approx. 60 minutes).Directions: Start is at Ruhlsdorf Station. To the right towards the street is the "Bootshaus Ruhlsdorf" with a small beer garden and snack bar as well as a canoe rental. From there, to the left, after a few meters, you will already be at the pedestrian bridge Zerpenschleuse, where you cross the ODER-HAVEL CANAL and reach the Finow Canal / Langen Trödel. On the Langen Trödel towards Zerpenschleuse, after approx. 1.7 km, you will come across the B109, which you cross and continue along the Trödel towards Liebenwalde. After approx. 3 km, you will find yourself in front of the "Gasthaus am Finowkanal", an old former schoolhouse where there are also accommodation options. Behind the house is a beer garden overlooking a large garden and the fields. If you continue, the next building is an old half-timbered church from 1848, where concerts are held regularly. Further along the Langen Trödel, the Old Lindenstraße branches off to the left, leading to the "Hof der kleinen Tiere" after approx. 400 meters, a certified organic farm with a small farm shop that is open on weekends. Here too, you will pass a canoe rental that also offers tours. From there, back and onwards towards Liebenwalde, right on the edge of Zerpenschleuse, you will find "Emma Emmelie", a small, cute shop where you can get linen, porcelain, and trinkets from grandma's time.
