At the South Sea, you pass by several information points: Fischerhütte Lüttingen, memorial plaque for 2 British pilots of the Royal Air Force, remains of a Roman watchtower, and the Kneipp station "Ernährung". The picturesque village of Wardt impresses with its orchards and the church. The route continues along the North Sea and up to the dike on the Rhine. Then the cycle path leads you through fields to Marienbaum (place of pilgrimage) and further on the tree-lined cycle path (a former railway line, which is again equipped with many information points) back to Xanten.
