Bayerisch-Schwäbischer Jakobusweg als Radpilgerweg Wiggensbach - Scheidegg

There is now also a way to make a pilgrimage from West Allgäu to Lake Constance by bike. Since 2015, a dedicated team has set out to explore and signpost an extensive network on the trail of the „original paths“. Via the "Münchner“ and the "Bayerisch-Schwäbischen“ Jakobus-Radpilgerweg, you will reach the Westallgäu on two wheels.

From there, you will be guided by the distinctive blue sign to Lake Constance. The route takes you from Missen via Oberstaufen and Hopfen to Weiler. Once there, you can continue from Scheidegg via Lindenberg, Heimenkirch, Hergatz, Hergensweiler and Sigmarszell to Lindau or Nonnenhorn.

Beautiful chapels, lush green meadows in the Western Allgäu foothills of the Alps, flowering orchards and vineyards on Lake Constance with magnificent views accompany you: the Way of St. James between Western Allgäu and Lake Constance invites you to find peace, contemplation and devotion.
