Radroute Deutsche Fachwerkstraße | Etappe Neckartal/Schwäbische Alb

The Neckar Valley/Swabian Alb stage is part of the German Half-Timbered Road cycle route. The route leads from Bietigheim-Bissingen, via Blaubeuren in the Alb-Danube district, to Riedlingen on the southern edge of the Swabian Alb.

Today, it is the unique historical panorama of many towns and municipalities in Baden-Württemberg: half-timbered construction. Along the popular German Half-Timbered Road, you will find very well-preserved half-timbered buildings. The Neckar Valley/Swabian Alb route covers around 200 km and features highlights such as Bietigheim-Bissingen, Blaubeuren and Riedlingen on the southern edge of the Swabian Alb.

The middle route, on the other hand, which also describes the main route, covers approx. 350km and impresses with highlights such as Eberbach, Bietigheim-Bissingen and Meersburg.

The western stage leads from Eberbach in the Rhine-Neckar district in the north, via Bietigheim-Bissingen, to Sasbachwalden in the Ortenau district and takes in the magnificent nature of the Black Forest.

The eastern route, on the other hand, leads from Eberbach in the Rhine-Neckar district in the north, via Schorndorf in the heart of the Rems-Murr district, to Meersburg on the northern shore of the Swabian Sea, Lake Constance.

The Etappe Neckartal/Schwarzwald is also part of the German Half-Timbered Road cycle route. The route leads from Bietigheim-Bissingen, via Bad Urach on the Swabian Alb, all the way to Calw.
