Bicycle route German Timber-Frame Road | Stage Neckar Valley/Black Forest

The stage Neckartal/Black Forest is part of the cycle route German Timber-Frame Road. The route leads from Bietigheim-Bissingen, via Bad Urach on the Swabian Alb, to Calw. Nowadays, the unique historical panorama of many towns and communities in Baden-Württemberg is characterized by half-timbered construction. Along the popular German Timber-Frame Road, you will find very well-preserved half-timbered buildings. The Neckartal/Black Forest route covers approximately 250km and impresses with highlights such as Bietigheim-Bissingen, Bad Urach, and Calw.
The middle route, which at the same time describes the main route, covers about 350km and impresses with highlights such as Eberbach, Bietigheim-Bissingen, and Meersburg.
The stage of the western route leads from the northern Eberbach in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, via Bietigheim-Bissingen, to Sasbachwalden in the Ortenau district and includes the magnificent nature of the Black Forest.
The eastern route, on the other hand, leads from the northern Eberbach in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, via Schorndorf in the heart of the Rems-Murr district, to Meersburg on the northern shore of the Swabian Sea, Lake Constance.
The stage Neckartal/Swabian Alb leads from Bietigheim-Bissingen, via Blaubeuren in the Alb-Donau district, to Riedlingen on the southern edge of the Swabian Alb.
