Cycle route German Timber-Frame Road | Stage eastern route

The eastern route stage is part of the cycle route German Half-Timbered Houses Road. From the northern Eberbach in the Rhein-Neckar district, through Schorndorf in the heart of the Rems-Murr district, to Meersburg on the northern shore of Lake Constance, this route leads to the Swabian Sea.

Today, the unique historical panorama of many cities and municipalities in Baden-Württemberg is characterized by half-timbered construction. Along the popular German Half-Timbered Houses Road, you will find very well-preserved half-timbered buildings. The eastern route covers approximately 360km and impresses with highlights such as Eberbach, Schorndorf, Blaubeuren, and Meersburg.

The middle route, on the other hand, which also describes the main route simultaneously, covers approximately 350km and impresses with highlights such as Eberbach, Bietigheim-Bissingen, and Meersburg.

The western route stage, in turn, leads from the northern Eberbach in the Rhein-Neckar district, through Bietigheim-Bissingen, to Sasbachwalden in the Ortenau district and covers the magnificent nature of the Black Forest.

The Neckartal/Black Forest stage is also part of the cycle route German Half-Timbered Houses Road. The route leads from Bietigheim-Bissingen, through Bad Urach on the Swabian Alb, to Calw.

The Neckartal/Swabian Alb stage, in turn, leads from Bietigheim-Bissingen, through Blaubeuren in the Alb-Donau district, to Riedlingen on the southern edge of the Swabian Alb.
