Arrival/Departure:Train: from Berlin with the RE3 (Schwedt) to Britz, from there with the RB63 to Joachimsthal (about 100 minutes).Car: from Berlin via the A11 to Joachimsthal (about 60 minutes).Directions: Starting point is the Schorfheide-Info. First take Töpferstraße to the roundabout and turn into the unpaved residential road (Paradiesweg) towards Kaiserbahnhof. Pass by Kaiserbahnhof towards Werbellinsee and after crossing the road, follow the Kaiserrundweg. After passing the ship dock, turn right and walk along the lakeshore of Werbellinsee towards Campingplatz Voigtswiese. Cross the campsite, after about 1 km the path diverges from the lakeshore in a left turn and soon leads steeply uphill. Follow the path with the green dot through beech forests towards Altenhof/EJB. After about 1 km, leave the Werbellinsee circular path (green dot) straight ahead (signposted to Fitnessparcour Altenhof). You will come to an asphalt road (emergency exit of the EJB), follow it to the left until you reach the street, cross it, and you are back on the Werbellinsee circular path, which you follow towards Joachimsthal. If you are still up for it, you can take a detour to Altenhof following the blue bar to the right and extend the tour. Before Diebelsee (straight ahead detour viewpoint overlooking the lake), the tour turns left. After 500 m at a junction with signposts, continue straight ahead towards Joachimsthal. The path passes through part of the Wacholderjagen nature reserve. Then cross the L238. After 500 m, you are back on the main path. Now, turn left and head downhill. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the starting point at the campsite and return to the starting point.
