TERRA.track Kneipp to go

This way would have been very much to the liking of Pastor Kneipp: it encounters various places for water treading, leads through magnificent natural landscapes, and with the ascent to the 331-meter-high Dörenberg, it really gets the circulation going. However, it starts very calmly at the Tegelwiese near the Iburg Castle. On the one-kilometer-long adventure trail Water.Nature.Environment., you can discover the animal and plant world of different habitats at six stations: at a rainwater retention basin that has become a species-rich habitat for dragonflies, amphibians & Co, at the Kolbach with a first water-treading spot, on a colorful wildflower meadow, and in the quiet shade of the forest, where a wave lounger comfortably allows a view into the canopy of leaves and the sky.

Then continue on the TERRA.track, one of more than 80 circular routes of the Nature and UNESCO Geopark TERRA.vita. They were created to open up special natural spaces and showcases of Earth's history. This path also offers great views - for example, during the descent from Dörenberg, you can repeatedly see the Iburg Castle.
