Since Gmund station is located directly on Lake Tegernsee, the temptation to jump straight into the water is great. But it's best to postpone the lido to the end of the day when you've had all the action. Instead, head straight for the summer toboggan run and climbing garden.
Crossing the Mangfall, you head across the hilly meadow landscape from Osterberg to Ostin accompanied by the tinkling of cowbells. A whole arsenal of exciting adventures awaits the kids at Oedberg. They can scramble in the climbing garden, let off steam in the adventure playground or whizz 1.4 kilometers down into the valley on the T-bar lift and the Oedbergflitzer.
But you should still have enough energy for the hike back - and also for a dip in the lake...
