"Peace begins within you". This motto is repeatedly brought to the hiker's attention on this tour, as getting a little closer to inner peace is the real goal of this trail up the Wendelstein. The summit itself offers a worthy conclusion. But even if you only walk part of the way, you are embarking on a spiritual journey, as there are seven stations along the way that encourage you to ask yourself questions that often get lost in everyday life. First you follow a forest road, where the first stations appear, inviting you to linger and reflect. Later, you follow a narrow path to the summit - a unique mix of meditation trail and mountain tour.
