The start of the easy hut hike is at the Kurvenlift-Stüberl parking lot to the west of Lake Spitzingsee. The hiking trail begins directly at the parking lot and is very well signposted throughout. After around 40 minutes and 200 meters in altitude, you reach the Untere Firstalm. A few meters above and within sight is the Obere Firstalm. Now it is only about 40 minutes to the Bodenschneidhaus. The last section of the trail is also very well signposted and developed. The way back to Spitzingsee follows the ascent route.
