Mit der Bahn in die Berge: Hausham Gindlalm-Runde bis Schliersee

Many paths lead to the Gindelalmschneid: From Hausham, you can ascend on narrow, steep paths or take the wide road. The Huberspitz can be reached via serpentines and is just 45 minutes away from the very special Almbad (note opening times). Continue over the Auerberg and soon the clearing with the small cluster of Gindelalmen opens up.

The three alpine pastures below the 1,335-metre-high summit are very tempting. Of course, you could stop off right away, after all, you've already got a few meters of altitude in your legs. But the Gindelalmschneid is in sight and the last ascent to the ridge, which lies exactly between Tegernsee and Schliersee, is still manageable. At the top, a magnificent view of the flatlands, over to the Wendelstein and down to the final destination, Lake Schliersee, awaits you.

It's up to you which of the Gindelalmen you choose. Just this much: you can't go wrong. The descent leads along the Maximiliansweg towards Hennerer - the next destination on the tour. On the farm, which is situated in a wild and romantic location above Lake Schliersee, you can get coffee and cake (and farm ice cream) and in the farm store you can buy home-made pasta and sausage, fruit spreads and herbs and fresh spelt bread at the weekend (check opening times). From here it is another 3 km down to Schliersee.
