Historischer Weg

We start the hike at the Mariä Burg church near Tengling, which was built on the ruins of a castle. From there, we walk along a path to Steineck and via Weinberg up to Wimpasing. Shortly after the village, we pause briefly to enjoy the panoramic view before turning right towards Tengling. The path continues along the edge of the village to the church of St. Coloman, which, due to its location on a hill above the lake, offers a wonderful panoramic view over the two lakes as far as the Berchtesgaden mountains. Don't miss out on a visit to the interior of the church, as this is where you will find the only completely preserved and therefore art-historically significant late Gothic winged altar in the area. After visiting the church, we follow the path downhill and turn right towards Tengling and, after crossing the village, we return to the starting point.
