The hike follows one of the most beautiful sections of the Tegernsee High Trail from Gmund to Tegernsee. First briefly along the lake, then briefly uphill and from then on, the trail continues southwards above the lake to Tegernsee. At the end of the tour, a stop at the Bräustüberl is a must.
