Stadtwald-Runde Miesbach

The moderately difficult Stadtwald loop initially runs along the Schlierach and through Miesbach. It soon follows hiking trails through the town forest and climbs gently through the Schopfgraben, past the Märchenweiher pond up to the Lichtenau estate. The highest point is reached here and we walk back to Schweinthal on a road with little traffic and soon through Miesbach back to Warmbad.

This loop is not particularly long at 6 km and is easy to moderately difficult with 90 meters of elevation gain. It runs either on paved paths or easy hiking or forest trails and is therefore also suitable for beginners.

The 'Laufpark Miesbach Hausham' is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The running park Hausham Miesbach was opened in summer 2022.
