Description by the author

The film cycle tour in the Tegernsee Schliersee Alpine region starts directly at the church square in Bayrischzell with a view of the Wendelstein. From here, you cycle along the Schlierach-Leitzachtal valley to Schliersee - just like in the opening scene from Marcus H. Rosenmüller's "Wer früher stirbt, ist länger tot".

At Schliersee there are numerous filming locations from the SAT1 cult series "Ein Bayer auf Rügen", such as the well-known Oberleitenhof, which became the "Aiblinger Hof" in the series. Incidentally, there are also some locations from the film series "Spring" to discover here, which is mainly set at the starting point of the tour, in Bayrischzell.

On the way back, the vacation home of Master Eder and his Pumuckl from "Pumuckl macht Ferien" is located near Fischbachau. The documentary "Still" was also filmed here in the Leitzachtal valley.

With a view of the Wendelstein, the route leads back to Bayrischzell via the Mieseben near Geitau, where the tour ends with many well-known locations from the ZDF Herzkino series "Frühling" with Simone Thomalla are waiting to be discovered.

The tour is also ideal as an e-bike tour.
