From the west side of the parking lot, the path leads along the access road to the district of Dorf. At the Lourdes Chapel in Dorf, turn right in the direction of Osterhofen - Bayrischzell. After about 400 meters, the path crosses the railroad line. Turn left here along the railroad embankment, past the waiting shelter at Osterhofen station to the crossroads. From here, follow the signs for 'Hochkreut'. First through a built-up area and then over a small climb up to the road leading to Hochkreut. A moderate ascent now takes you up to the mountain farms on Hochkreut, 1.5 km away. The entire route is very sunny.
The return route follows the outward route.
