Rund um den Schliersee

A wonderful afternoon walk around Lake Schliersee - find out beforehand whether the lake is frozen over, in which case it's time to pack your skates.

We leave our car at the train station in Schliersee and stroll down to vitalwelt schliersee and the spa gardens; here we keep to the right and walk directly along the lake and continue along the spa path around the lake. After about 15 minutes we pass a campsite; here begins a foot and cycle path that leads along the lake to the southern shore. Shortly before Fischhausen, the Rixner-Alm invites you to stop for a bite to eat.

In Fischhausen, on the southern shore of the lake, you have already completed half of the trail and return to Schliersee on the foot and cycle path.

In addition, since fall 2009, a total of 19 bilingual overview boards (German and English) on the tree adventure trail around the lake provide information about the flora and all kinds of interesting facts along the way - an informative experience for young and old!
