Klingenwald-Runde

Varied tour with several entry points, including from the "Untere Halde" stop in Weil im Schönbuch.

The Weiler Hütte or the Sportplatz parking lot are suitable entry points for the Klingenwald loop.

From the "Untere Halde" stop, there is also a signposted access route to the loop, which you then join at the "Hauberg" viewpoint. Another access route is signposted from the Weißer Stein parking lot.As the name suggests, the tour takes you through an area of the Weilemer municipal forest, which is criss-crossed with blades. Nevertheless, the route has no gradients to speak of and runs very pleasantly along natural paths.

Only the particularly idyllic Klinge of the Riegenbrunnenbach stream is crossed on an old sandstone bridge. The section along the Grenzallee is particularly impressive, with an unusually high number of historical boundary stones. The tour also offers a spectacular view of the silhouette of Weil im Schönbuch.

Benches along the way invite you to take a break, while the Weiler Hütte and the Sportgelänge (sports hall and kiosk at the adventure golf course) offer the opportunity to stop for a bite to eat.

The tour is also ideal for children. The playgrounds in Jahnstraße and Im Grund are on or in the immediate vicinity of the route.
