Bebenhausen - Königliche Jagdhütte

Route hike from Bebenhausen to the Royal Hunting Lodge and back

This route hike connects two important sights in the Schönbuch Nature Park: Bebenhausen with the former monastery and castle complex and the Royal Hunting Lodge.

Starting point is the Bebenhausen parking lot. From there we follow the Goldersbach stream through its idyllic valley. At the "Gesschlossener Brunnen" barbecue and rest point, we leave the lovely valley and a somewhat washed-out path leads steeply uphill in places. As soon as we reach the plateau, the path is pleasant again. After approx. 2.5 km, we reach the Königliche Jagdhütte (royal hunting lodge) via barely used paths with barbecue and rest facilities and a rewarding view over the Schönbuch Nature Park as far as the Swabian Alb.

Return to Bebenhausen along the same route.
