The Ostertal loop is a 13 km circular hiking trail through the picturesque Ostertal valley, starting at the village square in Osterbrücken. For a shorter route, the trail can also be divided into two loops of six and seven kilometers in length.
The trail leads hikers along the Oster river at the beginning, with views of the Ostertal valley opening up from the heights. The numerous trees along the orchards are particularly pretty to look at in spring when they are in bloom.For a shorter route, the trail can also be divided into two smaller laps, the first lap of 7.2 km from the Osterbrücken village square, the second 6.1 km long lap can be started a few meters further along Brückenstraße at the corner of Hofweg.
