A very pleasant hike for those who like it quiet. Beautiful forest, lots of flowers, especially in spring, great viewpoints and early historical evidence enrich the tour.

After a steep climb to the Kirchkopf, where there is a beautiful view of Talheim, the route leads through sparse deciduous forest to the Willmandinger Markung and the Buchbrunnen. From there to the nature reserve on the Ruchberg and, after walking around it, down through a rift valley to the springs of the Steinlach, then back along the edge of the Eichhalde forest with its great views.
