From the viewing platforms at the meadows and at the edge of the forest, visitors can observe the majestic wild horses, the clever wild boars, and the proud red deer (also white!). Hardehausen is primarily known for its herds of European bison, which comprise more than 30 animals. For over 60 years, they have been bred there for the conservation of the species.
