Wanderung von Gönz nach Weckbach

This easy 5 km hike is suitable for family outings at the weekend. The path is easy to walk on. Benches invite you to rest and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Way description:
The well-marked hiking trail starts in the center of Gönz at the St. Vitus Chapel. Before setting off on the tour, it is worth taking a look inside the small chapel. A hiking board of the Bergstraße-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park at the hiking parking lot with an overview map provides information about the route of the trail.
On the village road, the trail leads to the edge of the forest. The path leads through beech forest along the valley. Forest and meadows with beautiful views of the valley alternate. Before Weckbach, the trail crosses the little-used road in the valley.
Finally, the trail leads back to Gönz on the other side of the valley along the stream. At the end of the hike, you can stop off at the Zum Stillen Tal inn.
