Description

The Weinbergsweg Bad Kösen is an 11.4 kilometer circular route near Naumburg. It runs along a river, past magnificent viewpoints and wildflowers. The Fürst-Heinrich-Stein was created from the old field stones of the trenches during wartime and commemorates the 40-year anniversary of Battalion Leader Fürst Heinrich Reuß.


In terms of elevation and distance, the route is considered moderate. It is excellent for hiking. The route is accessible all year round.


The path partially follows the Saale Cycle Path. The wide view in the heights is reserved for hikers.
