The Feengrotten-Kyffhäuser-Weg leads from Saalfeld to Bad Frankenhausen.

Description

Also referred to as the main hiking trail, the Feengrotten-Kyffhäuser-Weg extends from Saalfeld to Bad Frankenhausen in 12 stages over a distance of 230 km.
It runs as a long-distance hiking trail through central Germany. In Saale-Unstrut, it largely follows the Saale cycle path and can be described as a connecting link through the region.

Attention! Due to construction work, there is a detour via Kleinheringen between Kaatschen and Rödingen (Stage 6). The detour is expected to last for four years. 
In the Nebra - Wangen area (Stage 9), there is an increased risk of deadwood.

4th Stage: Unterbodnitz, Magersdorf, Rothenstein, Jena-Lobeda, Lobdeburg, Burgrabis
5th Stage: Jena, Fuchsturm, Golmsdorf, Jenzighaus, Hohe Lehde, Königsstuhl, Dornburg, Ruine Kunizburg, Hirschroda
6th Stage: Dornburger Schlösser, Camburg, Kaatschen, Ruinen Saaleck und Rudelsburg, Bad Kösen
7th Stage: Roßbach, Kleinjena, Großjena, Freyburg, Neuenburg
8th Stage: Weischütz, Zscheiplitz, Laucha, Burgscheidungen, Tröbsdorf
9th Stage: Ortseingang Nebra, Wangen, Schwalbestal, Höhe Bockberg, Memleben
