Description

The Droyßig railway line is the starting point of the Bear Paw Trail, a tribute to the former Zeitz-Camburg railway line.
Over 70 bear paws were laid here, leading to the various stops of the audio guide. Especially children enjoy this animal-themed tour of the area!
The audio guide can be accessed via mobile phone, is acoustically illustrated, and was recorded by students of the CJD high school.
In addition to the castle, the Droyßig institutions have historically shaped the area, representing 170 years of higher education. The first female teachers in Prussia were trained here.

Of course, you will also learn where the Bear Paw Trail got its name. Droyßig has a long tradition of bears: The elusive bear Sultan managed to explore his hometown twice.
