SH5 - Häfnerhaslacher Wald- und Seeweg (große Runde)

The Häfnerhaslacher Wald- und Seeweg combines tradition and modernity: recreation, viticulture and traditional craftsmanship. An adventure hike through the historic pottery village on the Stromberg, where pottery was once the livelihood of many inhabitants, the focus today is on viticulture and forestry. These aspects can be experienced vividly along the circular trail. The Heiligenbergsee lake is both a water reservoir for the surrounding vineyards and a hotspot for various leisure activities. At 450 meters above sea level, the Schlierkopf is the second highest elevation in Stromberg. The path up is steep but worthwhile. Imposing views above the vineyards and the final view from Heiligenbergsee lake down into the Kirbach valley make up for the challenging first part of the circular walk.
