SH1 - Rundwanderweg Historisches Kirbachtal

A challenging circular hike through the historic Kirbach valley. Get to know the "highs and lows" of the Stromberg - an impressive adventure hike awaits you! The circular hiking trail in the middle Kirbach valley promises a varied experience. The historic wine villages of Hohenhaslach, Ochsenbach and Spielberg are the nuclei of this unique cultural landscape. The award-winning village street in the Ochsenbach district is particularly worth a visit. Picturesque old half-timbered houses line the road through the village and allow hikers to immerse themselves in the tangible history of the place. The trail leads past the Spielberg mineral spring "Sulzbrunnen" and along the valley floor on the banks of the Kirbach. There the hiker passes two old mills, witnesses of the past, of which only parts of the Bromberg mill are still preserved.
