On 40 kilometers this tour spans the great arc: from the glacial glaciers that left countless granite boulders, through the Neolithic megalithic graves Devil's Teigtrog and Devil's Backofen, which were built from such boulders, to the former monastery and the pilgrimage church in Rulle.
On the southern slope of the Wiehengebirge and through the lovely valley of the Nette, the circular route connects further attractive stations: the ruins of the Wittekindsburg, a water mill and the decommissioned black chalk quarry at Vehrte, which offers exciting insights into the geological history.
